February 6, 2020, at the Pickleball Pavilion 4:45pm

The Meeting began at 5:10 pm by President Jacquie Owens.

EXECUTIVE BOARD AND COMMITTEE CHAIRS

President: Jacquie Owens

Jacquie opened the meeting with a welcome to our new members and all of our seasoned long-time members.

She then gave a short explanation of our upcoming Member Appreciation Day. As an expression of our appreciation to all members the Board has elected to pay for nearly fifty percent of our luncheon on February 27, 2020. This money will come out of our reserve fund. Lunch will cost members only $9.50 each.

Next Jacquie informed the members on the progress that Kandi Roy and Kathy Printz are making on our Member/Guest Tournament. “It’s a Jungle Out There” will be on April 15th & 16th, 2020. Kandi provided a 50/50 drawing at our get together.  Teri Erickson was our lucky winner.

From the Green Committee: After much discussion the Green Committee has elected to continue to leave rakes out of the bunkers until further notice.

Discussion followed on the World Handicap System (WHS). A concern was brought up about taking a maximum score on a hole or a most likely score. The Handicap Committee will be reviewing our league’s protocol.
