RINGERS, BIRDIES & CHIP-INS (RBC’s)
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Ringers is a year-long eclectic game. The player’s lowest score for each hole on each course is tracked throughout the year on an Excel spreadsheet.
Birdies, Eagles & Chip-ins are also counted throughout the year. If a player achieves an Eagle on a postable game day, they are given credit for 1 Birdie. If the Eagle is chipped in, they also get credit for 1 Chip-In.
RBC scores are recorded yearly from December 1st to November 30th.
Handicaps for Ringers are determined using your handicap index as of December 1st or on the date a new member pays her money to participate in the special games.
Members must complete at least one round on each of the three 9-hole courses during the year to be eligible for RB/EC awards.
AWARDS:
Recognition will be given to the members with the lowest gross and net Ringer scores and most Birdies and Chip-Ins for the year at the December Luncheon. Prize money for all 3 categories will be distributed at the December luncheon.
Ringers money prizes are awarded by flights grouped by handicap. The number of flights is dependent on the number of Ringer participants. Each flight pays down six (6) places for four (4) flights and five (5) places for five (5) or more flights for gross and net. There are no more than 15 participants in each flight and no member shall be paid for both a gross and a net score.
