Interclub is a spring/summer competition among six local Green Valley golf clubs. This is a great opportunity to play at local clubs and meet new people. Dates, times, location and green fees are listed below.
The format of the competition is stroke play with Stableford scoring. Each Interclub team consists of eight players including one Captain. The best five scores of the eight players will count in the team score. Two tournaments run concurrently so both net and gross scores are used for each team.
Back this year is one fun day of Match Play! This will be the final round at Canoa Ranch on August 12th. After golf, the Interclub teams will celebrate with announcements and lunch.
All QCLGA members are eligible to sign up for Interclub play. Let us know if you are interested (if you have not already) and we will add your name to the list below.
Players must play in the qualifying rounds. Qualifying dates are listed on the QCLGA calendar and noted in the email at the time of sign-up via Golf Genius. Our Interclub team will be determined by balancing the lowest gross scores and net scores from that qualifying round prior to each of the events.
Each player is responsible for her own green fees; cash will be collected by the captain prior to the day of play. Players are expected to wear a team shirt similar in color for the competitions. Shotgun starts will be between 7.00 and 8.00 a.m. depending on the club hosting. Two players from the same club will share a cart. Lunch is planned for August 12th at the conclusion of match play.
