CONDITIONS OF PLAY
QCLGA Championship Three Day Flighted Event
This is a flighted 54-hole Individual Stroke Play Tournament using Low Gross and Low Net scores.
Dates: March 13, 18 and 20, 2025. Tee time start at 8:00 am on 13th and 20th, and 12:45 pm on the 18th.
Players must be available for all three days of play and complete all 18 holes each round. Picking up for an “X” will result in Did Not Finish (DNF). Withdrawing during the three days will also result in a DNF.
Entry Fee: $25.00 per player. Payable on the first day of play via Northstar accounts.
Pairings for the first round will be based on current handicaps. Second day pairings will be based on position within each flight after the first round of play: gross for the first flight and net for all other flights. Third day order of play starting with the first tee time:
1: 3rd Flight (4th if the number of entrants dictates more flights) highest net to the lowest net
2: 2nd Flight; highest net to the lowest net
3: 1st Flight; highest gross to the lowest gross
4: 4 lowest net over the field, no matter the flight
5: 4 lowest gross over the field, no matter the flight
Players with the overall lowest gross and net scores for 54 holes regardless of flight will be named the “Overall” winners and will be awarded $100 Quail Creek Gift Cards each.
Should one player have the overall lowest gross and lowest net score, that player will be named the overall low gross winner. The overall lowest net winner will be the player with the second lowest net score.
Prizes will be awarded to approximately fifty percent of the field, with equal payouts of gross and net in each flight. A minimum of four places per flight. Two for gross and two for net. Best effort will be made to obtain equitable flights. Ties within the flight will be paid as appropriate.
One player cannot be awarded money for both net and gross within their flights.
In the case of a tie for either the “Overall Gross” or “Overall Net” or both, the winner for the “Overall Gross” will be determined first, with sudden death playoff using gross scores, playing holes 18, 17, 18, etc., until a winner is decided. Upon completion, if there is a tie for the “Overall Net” , the winner will be determined with a sudden death playoff using net scores, playing holes 18, 17, 18, etc., until a winner is decided. If a sudden death playoff is not possible, a scorecard playoff based on the third day of play using the USGA tie breaking rules back nine will be applied.
